Position Summary:

The HR Analyst performs a variety of reporting and analytics work, requiring knowledge of the HR field.  Duties are varied and are carried out with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and independent judgment.  The incumbent in this position will play a key role in delivering functional support to the Manufacturing Operations HR Business Partner. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support data reporting and ad-hoc projects related to HR systems data, processes and compliance
- Submits/Reviews Workday business processes (employee status change requests)
- Collaborates with Mfg Ops personnel on quarterly and annual goals and performance metrics
- Audits and provides training on the key business processes
- Maintains, prepares, tracks and processes employee related records and documents
- Collects, organizes, tracks and analyzes data for inclusion in standard and ad hoc reports
- Compiles and maintains HR statistics
- Provides support for the implementation and communication of various HR programs and initiatives
- Guides managers and employees to direct access tools such as web-based portals for automated processes, transactions and reports, and supports their use

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible work experience, preferably in the Human Resources field
- Requires advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on quality
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to completion
- Solutions-oriented with effective problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills with emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-pace, changing environment, and deal effectively with confidential information
- Professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in defining and proliferating performance dashboards and metrics for a complex organization
• Knowledge of federal regulations and commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field
• Experience with multistate laws and regulations including CA, OR and TX desired
• Technical knowledge in HRIS applications (i.e., Workday, RMS, Success Factors)
• Ability to “think outside of the box” and identify methods of streamlining processes and increasing efficiency
