Position Summary:

This position is responsible for directing a growing, experienced process engineering team in the San Antonio Fab, Maxim's leading manufacturing site.  We're looking for a highly technical, highly motivated Director to lead their engineering team toward successful fab expansions, successful process transfers, and operations excellence.  
  
Job responsibilities include:
- Establishing vision and direction for process engineering team
- Technical leadership of entire process engineering group, including lithography, films, diffusion/epi, cleans, CMP, and plasma etch
- Setting and monitoring group technical goals
- Leading root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementing permanent corrective actions
- Developing and driving systems to ensure process robustness and quality improvement.
- Assuring successful process transfer by addressing key potential failure modes

Requirements:

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a minimum BS degree (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with a minimum 5 years experience in process engineering management. 
- An in-depth understanding of silicon processing is a necessity. 
- In addition to technical excellence, this position requires superb communication, strong leadership, and team skills.
