Position Summary:

Our products are used in a wide variety of microprocessor-based electronics equipment. A sampling of the applications for our circuits includes consumer electronics, personal computers and peripherals, handheld electronics, wireless and fiber communications, test equipment, instrumentation, video displays, and automotive applications.
- Define strategies and continuous improvement projects to optimize performance and insure leadership against industry benchmarks and standards
- Support of the global logistics organization with a focus on the delivery of projects and key initiatives to agreed timelines and service levels
- Lead supply chain optimization studies both internally and through our partners to support overall cost and service objectives
- Conduct regular rate reviews and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness of our logistics service providers
- Deliver accurate, consistent, and timely reporting on procured spend, supplier performance, and savings
- Develop and document world-class logistics operating procedures and statements-of-work to standardized global logistics processes. 
- Identifies and formulates projects and initiatives and sees them through to realization

- The candidate will have had at least 5 years of experience in the area of supply chain management
- Must have knowledge and experience working with a diverse carrier base including small package carriers, freight forwarders, and regional trucking operations
- Analytical skills and capabilities to support advanced logistics analytics, scenario modeling, and business case development, and executive presentation
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and possess excellent verbal communication skills and have experience presenting complex analysis to senior management
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) experience and knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Business Objects is a definite plus
- Must have a strong management presence and effective communication skills
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
