Position Summary:

We seek an experienced Technical Editor and proofreader. You will collaborate with engineers and business management to produce product data sheets and some marketing materials. You will review, edit, and proofread documents written by integrated circuit engineers. If you are an excellent communicator with proven editing and proofreading skills, read on!

Projects and subject matter will vary. The language is highly technical. Semiconductor industry experience preferred.

Position Requires:

Excellent editing and proofreading skills in English
Superior project coordination and management skills
Five to seven years editing experience, preferably in a technical field (semiconductor experience a plus)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications

Our environment is fast paced and you must excel at multitasking. To succeed, our candidate must be:

Highly focused and self-motivated
Detail oriented--cannot emphasize this enough
Proficient in Microsoft® Word and familiar with Excel and Outlook, and Adobe InDesign/InCopy (CS6)
Skilled communicator--excellent written and verbal communication

Please note that copy originates with engineers, so we are not looking for a writer although there may be occasional projects that may require copyediting/writing.
