  • Support financial planning and analysis
    functions for one or more business units.

  • Coordinate periodic management reports,
    prepare variance analyses and work with finance team members and the
    business unit to influence improvement actions.

  • Work with the demand planning
    organization and business unit managers on the periodic customer
    demand forecasts.

  • Help drive business reporting
    improvement initiatives using business intelligence
    tools.

  • Assist the finance team with
    forecasting, monitoring, controlling and reporting operating
    expenses.

  • Work with team members to coordinate
    product planning functions, including “what-if” product
    costing analysis, project profitability analysis, product development
    progress, and R&D productivity analysis.

  • Prepare specific journal entries for the
    monthly close.

  • Work with business unit engineering to
    identify and measure cost reduction and yield improvement
    projects. 

  • Work with the finance team to handle
    special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Be a key participant in the formulation
    of the annual operating plan



Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or other technical field.
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.  SAP experience desirable.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-attentive, able to work independently and within a team   
  • High-energy, motivated, customer-oriented, and strong desire to drive business success
  • Flexible and collaborative
