Maxim Integrated Products is a
successful, highly innovative semiconductor company that continues to
manufacture many of its products in the United States, including in
its WLP Fab in Dallas, Texas.
We are accepting resumes for
Temporary Openings to hire Fab Technicians, which are entry-level or
above production jobs. Positions may become available from time to
time and may provide the opportunity to go from temp status to
regular status. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up and operating
production equipment; loading and unloading product wafers.
Performing weekly and per shift preventative maintenance on
- Setting up lot (batch) starts, box washing and
- Data entry and maintaining
documentation of processing and shipment of lots.
computers for automated processing of product.
engineering technicians in performing process experiments or new test
- Maintaining a safe work environment, which includes
housekeeping, labeling and proper disposal of waste.
Following all environmental protection, safety and health procedures;
reporting accidents and spills promptly; and making recommendations
to improve safe work practices.
All of these duties are executed in a clean room
environment. This requires the wearing of a clean room suit, which is
a full body jumpsuit, hood, goggles, surgical gloves and surgical
mask. The environment does not allow the use of makeup, hairspray,
hair gel, perfume or cologne.
Candidates must be able to work extended periods on
their feet, demonstrate multitasking skills, follow written and
verbal instructions, and adhere to all safety requirements. Excellent
attendance is an absolute requirement in this full-time job. All
shifts require working either Saturday or Sunday
- High School diploma or equivalent
- The ability to read and follow written
procedures on a computer monitor
- Basic math skills such as
adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, and calculating
- The ability to stand for 10 hours,
walking to load and unload product, twisting, bending, stooping,
leaning forward and reaching overhead to operate production equipment
- The ability to distinguish all colors such as red vs. green
and see flashing alarms
- The ability to hear machine alarms
and to respond immediately
- Basic personal computer and
keyboarding skills for the accurate input of data
Shifts - Each shift works four days
one week and three the next as follows (D=Days, N=Nights):
- D1 – 5:45
a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other
– 5:45 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every
- D2 – 5:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. every other
Wednesday, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- N2 – 5:45 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. every
other Wednesday, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday
