Position Summary:

We are seeking a person with diverse experience as a software developer and business analyst in a manufacturing environment.  You will be working with the Automation team to develop solutions to support the priorities of the factory.  You will be participating in all phases of the software development life cycle. As the BA you will interact directly with key stakeholders in the business and play an instrumental role in defining and managing business requirements. The BA will also work closely with development team member to drive successful execution of IT projects. 
Keys to success will be your ability to understand the manufacturing processes, understanding the customer needs, and applying creative problem solving skills.  The ideal candidate would be a well-rounded IT professional who has a proven record of delivering complete solutions to customers.  This position reports to the Manager of Information Technology. #LI-AN1

- Work with Manufacturing IT and engineering groups to understand their needs and develop and deliver complete solutions in tool Automation (SECS/GEM), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Advanced Process Control (APC) and integrating our MES with other higher level systems.
- Document and present solutions to management and customers.
- Define test strategies and execute test plans.

Location both in San Jose, CA and Dallas, TX


- Must have at least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years prior Information Technology experience required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Solid understanding of ASP and VB .NET or other programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge/experience of semiconductor manufacturing systems/applications, PROMIS and equipment Automation.
- In-depth knowledge/experience of SECS/GEM interface for Semiconductor manufacturing.
- Highly skilled at capturing business processes and requirements of customers and translating them to specific software requirements.
- Documenting and analyzing the required information and data.
- Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like screen mockups and interface designs.
- Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence.
- Ability to work with global teams.
