Maxim's EDA/TDI organization is seeking a Software Associate Member
of Technical Staff to design, implement and support mixed-signal
verification methodology at the San Jose location. The desired
candidate will be responsible for actively contributing to the
design, development and testing of large-scale mixed-signal
verification methodology. Daily responsibilities involve use of state
of the art software design techniques coupled with the unique
opportunity to understand and address some of the toughest
verification challenges faced by the industry.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related degree
  • Strong object-oriented software development skills; must have worked in a large (non-commercial okay) software project involving specification, design, testing
  • Strong familiarity with software engineering; knowledge in design patterns highly desirable; preferably understands and has some prior experience with continuous integration and continuous testing
  • Must have proficiency in either Python or Ruby outside C++/Java
  • Experience in developing software in a UNIX/Linux environment using IDE tools
  • Knowledge of System Verilog is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits is a plus
  • Prior experience with web services is a plus
  • Prior experience in any database related development is a plus
