Position Summary:

Sr. Metals Equipment Engineer:  Tool Owner of Metals Deposition Equipment  - documenting procedures and checklists, establishing PM programs, spares
- Meet and improve Uptimes and Tool Performance
- Track and report Equipment metrics
- Analyze , troubleshoot, and repair AMAT Enduras and PVD magnetic systems,
- Train Equipment Maintenance Specialists
- Proven Team leadership in Equipment support and interfacing with cross functional groups
- Work with minimal Supervision, self-motivated and able to tackle and complete long term projects


- 15 years Semiconductor Wafer Fab Metals Equipment Engineering and Maintenance experience
- BS degree in Electronics, Engineering , or Equivalent
- Experienced with Lean and 5S methods

Preferred Skills
- MTS or Senior level experience with AMAT systems.
- Advanced Electro/ Mechanical / Vacuum skills and high level of proficiency with AMAT Endura PVD  Equipment.
- Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams , specifications
- Strong hands on Metals systems experience, Technical understanding for troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Perform installations, calibrations, modifications, improvements
- Experienced with  controllers, RF generators, analyzers, Turbo pumps,  Cryo pumps,
- Experienced maintaining and repairing vacuum systems
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
- Understanding of Equipment and Process interfaces
- Statistical working knowledge of SPC and CpK
