Maxim's Test
Systems Development group is seeking an Associate Member of Technical
Staff to join the team at the headquarters location in San Jose, CA.
As an Associate Member of Technical Staff in Test Systems
Development, you will:

• Design
component-level circuits for precision parametric measurements />• Perform dynamic signal analysis
• Create
automated test system software for analog and mixed-signal IC’s

You will experience a multi-discipline experience working
with a team including IC Design Engineers, Product Engineers, Test
Engineers, Application Engineers, Business Managers, and
manufacturing personnel. Test Development Engineers at Maxim work
with cutting-edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE), including
high-speed DSP-based ATE’s such as the Teradyne UltraFlex
tester. Our Test Development Engineers are involved in all phases of
a product including:

• Product development />• Design for testability
• Test hardware and
software design
• Hands-on debugging

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer
• Strong understanding of analog, digital and
mixed-signal circuit analysis, and design
• Good
programming, component-level circuit design, and debugging skills />• Good written and verbal communication skills

Coursework in semiconductor design and application, as well as
systems design is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with
basic lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes is helpful
