Position Summary:

Strategic Business Analyst in Assembly Operations team to design and implement tools to improve our overall daily performance and feedback to Maxim internal customers.  Analyze data, identify opportunities, make recommendations, and implement solutions and business processes.  The goal is to improve planning efficiency, decrease Assembly cycle time and help improve delivery performance to our customers.  The position is expected to leverage leadership and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams comprised of the assembly sub-contractors, assembly operations and supply chain management to execute on these programs. Agile development, integration and sustainable business processes are key requirements of these programs and knowledge of the above is a must in the candidate. Strong understanding of assembly manufacturing and data management to aid in development of these programs that will also directly impact and drive our performance metrics. Our group (and the challenges we face) are growing and we need people who can be leaders for their responsibilities and can demonstrate rigorous execution and ownership. 
- Analyze existing assembly operations business processes, plan and implement automation to improve efficiencies
- Design and implement tools to improve planning efficiency, on time delivery and decrease assembly cycle time.
- Work cross-functionally with Maxim Supply Chain Management team and outsourced Assembly sub-contractors to implement improved business processes.
- Part of the team in implementing a global execution system focused in assembly operations
- Benchmark current processes against industry standards. 
- Work with assemblers to improve B2B management of data.LI-AN1


- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Management or related field
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Semiconductor Industry (preferably Assembly Operations)
- Advanced Microsoft Office & Excel skills
- Must have experience in Business to Business (B2B) integration with external manufacturing
- Operational & programming/coding knowledge in Oracle, SAP, & i2/JDA
- Solid understanding in managing OSATs (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test)
- Understanding of supply chain business processes (inventory principle, demand/supply management, forecasting, capacity planning, materials procurement, product development)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve in both individual and group situations.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism
- High degree of problem solving and decision making capability
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities to achieve overall objectives
